In Thailand, tourists will have to buy alcohol in advance because of the elections in the country. Any alcohol trade in Thailand will be banned from the evening before and until the evening of election day on March 17 and 24, Thaiger warns the Internet portal with reference to the country’s National Election Commission.
The publication indicates that foreign tourists will have to stock up on alcohol in advance if they want to drink between 18:00 March 16 and 18:00 March 17, and from 18:00 March 23 to 18:00 March 24, 2019.
Thailand’s electoral commission issued on Tuesday a warning to ban the sale of alcohol on the eve and on the day of the preliminary voting. It is scheduled for Sunday, March 17, as well as the day before and on the main election day, which will be held on March 24.
